Meet Alexis
My journey as a florist began in high school when I first stepped into a flower shop and started processing blooms for a local florist. There was something magical about transforming fresh flowers into beautiful arrangements, and I was instantly hooked. As I moved to College Station, my passion grew as I worked with several florists, including a hands-on experience at a flower farm where I learned the art of growing and sourcing flowers from the ground up.
After spending seven years freelancing and refining my skills, I realized it was time to turn my passion into something bigger.
I decided to take the leap and make my dream a reality. And so, Jewel and Bloom Floral Co. was born—a business built on creativity, expertise, and a deep love for turning visions into breathtaking floral designs.

And yes, I did see George Strait at Kyle Field—it was an unforgettable night!
Lately, I’m obsessed with Jersey Mike’s. After weddings, you’ll probably find me there grabbing a sub to refuel.
My absolute favorite flower is the Ranunculus—especially the ones with those beautiful black centers.
I absolutely love to travel!
My most recent trips were to Germany, France and New York City!

A tribute to Family
Jewel & Bloom is a nod to someone very special in my life, my MawMaw Jewel, who's name I also share as my middle name.
She was so special to me, and I always think fondly of her when I see hummingbirds. I decided to weave our shared name into my business,
as well as her handwriting into a tattoo on my wrist.
